To launch the Samsung Galaxy S8 we created an experience that brought to life the phone’s revolutionary new infinity screen. A box was placed in Grand Canal Dock with a countdown timer on it. Then when it finally opened, well… It’s best explained in the film. It was built by Catapult Productions. The art director was Conor Kenny. The copywriter was Jack Robertson.
In April of this year we launched Hailo as mytaxi in both Ireland and in London. This was a hugely complex challenge involving migrating drivers and passengers to a new app in two markets, while creating a new brand identity and a brand purpose that would work across the entire European market. Above is a really fun launch activation we created for the Irish market along with Catapult Productions. There was also a load of high impact outdoor which I’ll upload soon. During my time in Guns or Knives we redesigned the agency’s identity and built a brand new website from scratch. The concept of Dangerous Ideas was created and designed in-house by art director Barry Smith, and brought to life in Cinema 4D by Darach McHugh. You can see the website at www.gunsorknives.ie.
